"It is time to return the NRA to its members.  The NRA once had the reputation of being the behemoth in the room, but it has become weakened due to poor leadership decisions and behaviors at the senior level. The NRA must return to its rightful place in history.  We accomplish this by restoring the faith and trust of members, bringing a fresh set of ideas, and an ethical way of thinking to the Board.  As a Mom, a Second Amendment advocate, an Attorney, and a Scout Leader, I believe that outreach via women’s and youth training programs is critical for our future.  We must capture this burgeoning sector of the gun-owning population.  We start by restoring the integrity of the NRA and forging optimistically ahead to the future.

The new NRA should provide better resources and support to NRA Certified Instructors and work better with state-level organizations who have filled the gap, leading the battle against unconstitutional attacks on our Second Amendment rights."
