Al Hammond is a current NRA Board member nominated by the NRA nominating committee. An NRA Benefactor member, he currently serves on the Clubs and Association and Range Development committees. He is an ardent supporter of the NRA Foundation and the Friends of NRA program. A lifelong hunter, shooter, and promoter of NRA Programs, he teaches education, safety, and firearms training, especially to our youth.

Mr. Hammond has testified to the Florida legislative committees and Florida Wildlife Commission members numerous times over the last 30 years on issues regarding hunting, hunter access, shooting ranges, and junior programs. He was asked to testify by the Florida Governor’s task force reviewing “Stand your Ground Laws” representing hunters, farmers, and private landowners regarding safety and personal protection for all. A former member of the Florida Wildlife Alerts Rewards Association for over 25 years, Mr. Hammond has been a defender of our Constitutional Freedoms and most importantly our Second Amendment Rights for his entire adult life.
